You may have noticed that things have been quiet here at Adventures of a Rainbow Mama over the past few weeks...

I've gone into my Chrysalis Stage. I'm all Pupa; working on my metamorphosis. 

Learning. 
Thinking. 
Dreaming. 
Planning.

Piling my favourite books together and seeking creative inspiration. Asking the big questions. Seeking wisdom. Doing the hard work. And in doing so - recognising that to truly give myself to the creative process I have to release. Let go. Be. And so I am...

You might still find me chattering away on fb, twitter or instagram but the Rainbow Mama blog is going to be quiet over the next little while. My 365 project included. But, hang in there! I think you are going to love what I'm working on... and I can't wait to share it with you; you crazy, beautiful people. Thank you for believing in the adventures thus far. It means so much to me.

If you're ANYTHING like me, you've been eating them by the bucketful recently. I totally and utterly heart them. The perfectly-imperfect ones from the local farmers market are always the best too - those über-huge supermarket ones can be disappOINTING CAN'T THEY. 

Oops, cap locks. I got a little excited there. Understandably.

I took these photos for La Mia Bella Casa a few months ago and fell in love with the tablecloths. They were the first things we shot together, and they made me all french-linen-fetishy!!!

Last Friday night I attended the "Paved Paradise" Spring/Summer 2014 launch party for Byron Bay-based fashion label Amilita.

The launch featured an exhibition of photographs by the amazingly talented Carly Brown { Carly shot the dreamy Amilita SS14 lookbook in Mexico with model Ariel Beesley }, live music by Ziggy Alberts { see my busking portrait of Ziggy from a few weeks ago here }, a heady collection of creative peeps and some beautiful clothes.
