Win! The Perfect French Linen Tablecloth

Strawberries anyone?

If you're ANYTHING like me, you've been eating them by the bucketful recently. I totally and utterly heart them. The perfectly-imperfect ones from the local farmers market are always the best too - those über-huge supermarket ones can be disappOINTING CAN'T THEY.

Oops, cap locks. I got a little excited there. Understandably.
Annnnnnyway, enough about my strawberry fetishes ;)

Who wants to win a beautiful linen tablecloth from La Mia Bella Casa?!

Drool over the pictures, and I'll add the dirty details below...

I took these photos for La Mia Bella Casa a few months ago and fell in love with the tablecloths. They were the first things we shot together, and they made me all french-linen-fetishy!!!

Now, in celebration of Spring and strawberries and picnics and all things fabulous, they have decided to give one away, and all you have to do is 'like' their facebook page to be in the running. That's it.

And then come back here and tell me below where your favourite picnic spot is! - Okay, that's not actually part of the competition but I'd love to hear ;) Jump to it!

p.s. This is not a sponsored post; I'm just sharing my photos and personal thoughts, and a link to their FAB competition - because I really want one of my readers to win! xx

La Mia Bella Casa Launch Party!

I’m so excited!

Because I'm FINALLY able to show you some of the cool work that I’ve been doing for luxury online homewares brand La Mia Bella Casa this year.

Sarah Arbiter, the mastermind behind the brand, and I met in a funny, almost serendipitous way a few months back { snoop on her blog for more details ;) } and before I knew it I was her official lifestyle photographer! And a wonderful collaboration was born.

The La Mia Bella Casa website went live a few weeks ago now, and I popped up to the Gold Coast for the launch party. A beautiful event, none the less. Sarah has sublime taste and is building an amazing reputation for luxury home furnishings, all of which are now available in her online store.

I’ll be posting photos from both her linen table-wear and bed linen ranges over the next few weeks. And I hope you like them as much as I do!

But until then, champagne anyone...? #yesplease

Do you love your home? Tell me your favourite thing about it!

142/365 A New Collaboration

I love when I get to photograph a new face!

Especially when it's on a fabulous job :) This is Lucy. Isn't she stunning? And see that billow-y gorgeousness in the background? - That is THE most beautiful linen you've ever seen.

I'm excited to be the lifestyle photographer for a new Australian online homewares store launching mid-year.  We had a great first shoot today - hello Moët! - so stay tuned for more details in the lead up to the launch. It's going to be fun!

Design | UNE Writers & Illustrators in Residence

My latest design baby!

I'm thrilled to finally be able to show you what I have been working on recently >> a website for the Writers and Illustrators in Residence program coming out of the University of New England (UNE).

Funded by a grant from the Copyright Agency Cultural Fund, in association with the School of Arts at the University of New England, Writers and Illustrators in Residence brings three creators of children’s literature or media to Armidale, each for a two-week residency.

During their residencies, each Writer or Illustrator conducts his or her own work, as well as conducting a number of workshops for members of the Armidale and New England community.

The goal of the program is to support new and established creators of children’s literature and media, and to bring their expertise to the region to inspire and encourage budding local talent, through a series of workshops, lectures, talks, and classes, open to a range of audiences.

It's a very cool initiative that supports the Arts here in Australia and I am proud to be involved (plus I discovered that I like drawing pigeons - who knew? ;)

Please take a look! XO
